Breakaway Racing and Yorwollohan Racing's Speed Away ($7.40, Corey Callahan) had a successful return to Harrington Raceway with a 1:57.2 win in the featured $14,500 winners-over trot Wednesday.
For the second straight night at Harrington Raceway, a sizable upset occurred in the feature race as Bob Shahan’s Jett Propelled ($32.40, Jason Thompson) was a 1:57.1 winner on a very windy day in the $18,000 Mares Open.
George and Tina Dennis’ Mack ($101.20, Jim Morand) sprung a 50-to-1 upset in 1:52.1 in the $17,000 featured Delaware Special Monday on opening night of Harrington Raceway’s 79th season of live harness racing.
Harrington Raceway's 79th season of live harness racing will launch on April 14 (post time 4:30 p.m.). The season will run primarily on a Monday through Wednesday schedule once again. The first qualifiers will be held on April 8 (Tuesdays) and Wednesdays the rest of the season except for August 5.
