Carrie Malone's Michelle's Jazz ($21, Tony Morgan) was an upset winner in the $20,000 Mares Open Tuesday at Harrington Raceway in 1:52.4.

 The 7-year-old Roll With Joe mare fanned 3 deep in the stretch and hit her best gears late to catapult to the lead in the shadow of the wire over Feeling Sweet and Tae. It was the 5th win of the year for Michelle's Jazz, who has banked $45,852 this year for trainer Brian Malone.

 It was one of 3 wins on the card for Morgan, who celebrated his 17,000th career win Sunday. Art Stafford Jr. had a grand slam, while Montrell Teague had a pair of wins.
